Al-Azhar Memorial Garden
A calm, trustworthy web presence for an Islamic memorial garden: the grounds, the facilities, a gallery, and how to get in touch. The design came from the owner. My part was the front end: I built the whole interface from their design.

The challenge
The owner's design, made real, fast, and calm on a phone
The approach
A faithful front end that stays out of the design's way
The calls that mattered
- Implemented the owner's design faithfully, down to spacing, type, and pacing
- Kept the image-heavy pages fast with optimized, lazy-loaded photos
- Built mobile first, since most visitors arrive from a phone in a quiet moment
- Left the visual and brand decisions to the owner; my scope was the front end
